```Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. Duties:- Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar- Take dental x-rays and other medical imaging as needed- Assist the dentist during procedures, such as fillings and extractions- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for improvement- Maintain accurate and thorough dental records using electronic medical documentation systems (such as Epic or CAD)- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization- Take vital signs and record medical history- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort and safety- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies
Requirements:- Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist- Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program- Proficiency in dental assisting procedures and techniques- Experience with electronic medical documentation systems (such as Epic or CAD)- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and oral health conditions- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work well in a team environment- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
