Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction.
Duties- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping them- Maintain patient dental records and take X-rays as needed- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment following OSHA guidelines- Perform office tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing insurance claims
Qualifications- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance- Proficiency in medical imaging and X-Ray procedures- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures- Experience with Eaglesoft software is a plus- Ability to perform dental assisting duties efficiently- Understanding of aseptic techniques in a dental setting- Previous experience in endodontics is advantageous- Certification in dental assisting is preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
