Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various dental procedures and provide support to both the dentist and patients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Assist dentists during dental procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols- Experience with medical coding and documentation- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices- Ability to operate 3D scanners for dental imaging- Competence in taking vital signs and patient assessments- Understanding of prosthodontics procedures- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
