Key Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures
Conduct patient assessments, including charting, reviewing medical histories, and taking x-rays
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and treatment options
Collaborate with the rest of the dental team to create treatment plans and ensure the best possible care
Build strong, trusting relationships with patients, making them feel comfortable and valued
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in a timely manner
Stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and techniques in the field of dental hygiene
Enjoy a manageable caseload and work at a pace that allows you to provide thorough care without feeling rushed

Ideal Candidate

Licensed Dental Hygienist (RDH) in VA with an active, current license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills—patient care is our priority
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
A friendly and compassionate demeanor that helps patients feel at ease
Experience with or willingness to learn advanced hygiene procedures, such as scaling and root planing, is a plus
