Established over 50 years ago, Duxbury Dental Associates had a vision of providing a warm, open dental practice to the Duxbury community and surrounding towns.
A motivated and dedicated Dental Assistant is needed for our busy general dentistry practice. We are willing to train the right candidate on the job if needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Based on Experience
As a Dental Assistant, you will help support the clinical needs of the practice’s patients and doctors.
Responsibilities:

Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
Take dental X-rays
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Executes patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
Perform digital intraoral scans
Supports patient charting for Doctors
Perform various office tasks as necessary
Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction

Position Requirements:

Attention to detail and familiarity with patient software programs (Dentrix preferred but not required)
Ability to use common software programs (MS Word/Excel/Outlook etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great interpersonal skills

Experience:

Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

X-Ray Certification

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
