Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Duties- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including endodontics and general dentistry.- Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment following aseptic techniques.- Take and record vital signs of patients as needed.- Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist in creating accurate dental models.- Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories within our systems.- Provide support in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during treatments.- Educate patients on post-operative care and general oral hygiene practices.- Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications- Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with various dental procedures.- Experience in assisting with endodontics or general dentistry is preferred.- Knowledge of medical records management systems is a plus.- Ability to perform vital sign checks accurately.- Strong understanding of four-handed dentistry techniques.- Commitment to maintaining aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.- Certification as a Dental Assistant or equivalent experience is preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
