Job Description

**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dental care and patient satisfaction, along with proficiency in various dental procedures and technologies.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
- Take xrays and use other dental imaging devices
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Perform various office tasks as needed
**Experience:**
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred
- Proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy and knowledge
- Experience with pediatric patients
- Strong understanding of infection control practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to assist patients effectively
