Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health.
Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain and update patient dental records- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Follow infection control protocols- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications- Valid Dental Hygienist license- Proficiency in medical imaging and dental terminology- Experience with medical documentation and four-handed dentistry- Knowledge of documentation review, medical coding, and Dentrix software is a plus- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry, medical records, and pediatric patients
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $48.00 - $49.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
