Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assess oral health and diagnose conditions.
Assist in four-handed dentistry by working closely with the dentist during procedures.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in accordance with practice protocols.
Implement infection control procedures and ensure compliance with aseptic techniques.
Review medical histories and document any relevant findings or concerns.
Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience.
Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in medical imaging and familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred.
Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Experience in general dentistry practices, including documentation review and patient care.
Ability to work effectively with pediatric patients is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
