Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, ensuring a smooth workflow within the office.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, adhering to safety standards.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Epic.
Perform basic laboratory tasks, including impressions and model preparations.
Provide support in administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Assist with endodontic procedures and utilize medical imaging techniques when necessary.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes as required.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in dental software applications such as Eaglesoft or Epic is a plus.
Knowledge of medical coding, infection control protocols, and dental radiography is essential.
Familiarity with endodontics and the use of medical imaging technologies is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in X-Ray technology is required; additional certifications related to dental assisting are desirable.

Pay: $21.18 - $22.29 per hour
