Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This position requires a strong background in dental assisting, with experience in various specialties such as Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Pediatrics being highly desirable. Proficiency in dental software systems like Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft is also preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials.
Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
Take and develop X-rays as per the dentist's instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Support administrative tasks such as medical coding when required.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft is a plus.
Knowledge of various dental specialties including Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Pediatrics is advantageous.
Certification in X-Ray technology is required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.81 - $20.91 per hour
Expected hours: 6 â 8 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
