Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health while making patients feel comfortable and fostering upbeat positive atmospere.
Duties- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and dental disease processes- Take dental x-rays- Maintain and sterilize dental equipment- Update patient records using electronic health records systems
Requirements- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Ability to take vital signs and perform patient assessments- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar electronic health record systems- Familiarity with medical documentation, including HIPAA compliance- Strong skills in documentation review and medical coding, treatment planning- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
