OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting our dental professionals in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis.
Utilize 3D scanners for accurate impressions and treatment planning.
Record vital signs and maintain accurate patient records using Epic or similar software.
Educate patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene practices, and treatment plans.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups to ensure optimal patient flow.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Support prosthodontics procedures by preparing materials and assisting during treatments.

Requirements

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
