Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position will be a Hygiene Assistant to one of our hygienists that does Double Chair.
Hours are Monday - Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-3.Pay Rate will be based on level of experience.
Duties
Must be able to take quality x-rays. Assistant will seat the patient, go over medical history. review any documentation. They will than take any necessary x-rays on the patient and then let the hygienist know they are ready for the prophy. Once prophy is complete, assistant would then come and chart for the DDS exam. They would document any and all necessary information. Setting up and tearing down rooms will also be required

Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure the office adheres to all safety protocols and maintains an aseptic environment.
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is REQUIRED
Familiarity with Eaglesoft.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
Ability to follow aseptic techniques and maintain infection control standards.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
