OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety while adhering to all infection control protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, as well as the ability to work effectively with both pediatric and adult patients.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Monitor vital signs and assess patient health prior to treatment.
Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, working closely with the dentist during treatments.
Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures.
Familiarity with medical imaging technologies used in dentistry.
Strong documentation skills and understanding of HIPAA compliance.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices, including vital signs monitoring and four-handed dentistry techniques.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
