Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This position requires proficiency in dental assisting techniques, familiarity with medical records, and a strong understanding of dental systems.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Manage patient records accurately, including medical coding and documentation.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for scheduling and patient management.
Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Support the front office with administrative tasks as needed, including appointment scheduling.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry is essential.
Familiarity with Prosthodontics and other specialized areas of dentistry is a plus.
Proficiency in using dental software systems like Epic or Eaglesoft is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for managing medical records effectively.

Pay: $18.33 - $19.41 per hour
