About us
We are a private practice looking for a dental assistant to join our team. Our practice is a growing fast-paced dental office. We are looking for a long term office member.
The position is full time, Monday -Friday, no weekends.
Responsibilites to include:- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing dental instruments- Take dental x-rays- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records- Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming appliances- Manage patient records
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program and minimum 1 year experience- X-ray certification/license required- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments- Proficient in using dental software (Dentrix) preferred- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Note: Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
