Job Description
We are looking for a friendly dependable dental hygienist with great work ethics that can contribute to our office for a small privately owned general dentist. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday and one Friday per month. We use Practice Works and Kodak digital software.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft, Epic, Dentrix, or other dental software systems- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
Experience:- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft, Epic, Dentrix, or other dental software systems- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is preferred- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
