JOB TITLE: Dental AssistantPAY: $24/hr.LOCATION: Huntington, NY
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction.
Duties
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
Take and develop dental x-rays
Sterilize instruments and equipment
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
Maintain accurate patient records using medical documentation software
Utilize knowledge of endodontics, Epic software, HIPAA regulations, and medical coding
Perform vital sign assessments and utilize aseptic techniques
Assist with 3D scanning procedures
Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
