Hours: Mon/Tues 9-6, Weds/Thurs 7-4
Our dental practice, located in Waunakee, is seeking a talented and experienced Dental Assistant to join our winning team. Our ideal candidate would be someone with exceptional clinical skills, along with an empathetic demeanor and a strong attention to detail. We value team players who can multitask effectively and communicate treatment recommendation clearly to our patients. Duties for our Dental Assistant (DA) Include:

Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Itero scanning (can be trained on the job)
Digital radiographs

Qualifications

Chairside assisting
Dental terminology
3D scanner experience
General dentistry knowledge
Understanding of medical terminology
Prosthodontics skills
Endodontics familiarity
Aseptic technique proficiency
Anatomy knowledge
Experience in dental assisting
Familiarity with EMR systems
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Competence in Eaglesoft and Dentrix
Pediatric dentistry experience
X-Ray proficiency
Dental receptionist skills
Four handed dentistry expertise
Vital signs monitoring capability
Medical imaging knowledge
Familiarity with Epic software
Understanding of medical documentation, records, and coding
Experience in pediatrics

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
