Overview:
Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in providing top-notch dental care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled individual with experience in various dental procedures and exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients- Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, and assist with dental procedures- Perform various office tasks such as maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling dental receptionist duties- Utilize Eaglesoft or similar software for patient management- Proficient in operating 3D scanners for accurate imaging- Knowledge of anatomy to assist with endodontic treatments- Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- Certified Dental Assistant preferred- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus- Proficiency in taking vital signs and assisting with endodontic procedures- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management systems- Ability to operate 3D scanners for diagnostic purposes- Strong organizational skills to manage medical records efficiently- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 36 per week
