Job Description

*POTENTIAL* To become full time position.
Prefer certified dental assistants that are wanting to pursue expanded dental functions (EFDA certification) as soon as possible. Please discuss with me opportunities.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental X-rays- Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records, including taking payments on occasion- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Maintain inventory of dental supplies- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA regulations
Skills:- Proficiency in dental office management systems, such as Dentrix software- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical coding- Experience in dental assisting, including chairside assisting and CAD/CAM technology- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus- Ability to take accurate dental X-rays

Shift begins at approximately 9am and work ends around 4:30pm, 1 hour unpaid lunch. There is potential to begin the shift earlier however at this time the position starts at 9am.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 32 per week
