Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our very conservative and fun dental team. The ideal candidate would play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position is a great opportunity to join one of the most enjoyable and family friendly practices in Spokane. We are a very team oriented and would like to find an additional employee to join our dental family. Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using dental software like Eaglesoft.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Support the front office with dental receptionist tasks as needed.
Assist in various specialties including prosthodontics, general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and four-handed dentistry.
Skills
Proficient in dental assisting techniques and practices.
Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and medical imaging technologies.
Familiarity with managing medical records effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.

Qualifications
Chairside assisting experience
Proficient in dental terminology and X-Ray procedures
Familiarity with four handed dentistry techniques
Strong communication skills for patient interaction
Knowledge of medical records and organizational skills
Previous experience in dental assisting and pediatric dentistry
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 ââ¬â 32 per week
