Job Description
*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health.
*Duties*
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthetic and apply fluoride treatments
- Maintain patient records accurately
- Perform periodontal charting and screenings for oral health conditions
*Requirements*
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques
- Familiarity with general dentistry systems and practices
- Ability to maintain strict infection control protocols
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and medical coding
- Excellent communication skills and patient care abilities
