Summary
Utah Implants and Periodontics is looking to add an additional assistant to our amazing office. As a Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of the dental team, providing chairside assistance and supporting various periodontal procedures. Experience in the dental field is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person. Looking for someone with good time management, and organization to join our practice and be a valuable asset in delivering high-quality dental services in a professional and compassionate manner. We are located downtown SLC, hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, anticipating their needs.
Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to support the dentist.
Operate 3D scanner for accurate dental impressions.
Maintain aseptic technique to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Handle dental instruments and materials efficiently.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

Chairside assisting
Dental terminology
3D scanner operation
Experience with EMR systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Familiarity with X-Ray procedures
Ability to handle dental receptionist duties
Competence in four-handed dentistry
Vital signs monitoring skills
Exposure to medical imaging techniques

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14.00 – 22.00 per week
