Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a full time skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health. We are a single dentist practice dedicated to providing excellent care to our patients. Must have a registered hygiene license in the state of Tennessee. UAB preceptorship DOES NOT qualify.
Duties- Conduct routine dental cleanings and periodontal cleanings- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Perform dental charting and take X-rays- Maintain and sterilize dental equipment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Update and maintain patient medical records
Requirements- Registered Dental Hygiene License in the state of Tennessee- Proficiency in Dentrix software is a plus but not required- Knowledge of medical documentation and terminology- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
