Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine oral health status and needs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures while adhering to infection control protocols.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in pediatric dental care, providing a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist.
Familiarity with infection control standards and practices in a dental setting.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
