Job Description
Job position Family dental practice is looking for a part time dentist to begin immediately. An opportunity to eventually buy the real estate and professional practice over the next one to two years is a possibility for the right candidate. Dental practice has been serving the greater Waterbury East End since 1978. Current dental owner will be available during the future transition
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments of patients.
Perform a range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
Implement infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care.
Manage patient interactions in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or questions.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid dental license to practice in the state.
Experience in general dentistry; pediatric dentistry experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of infection control standards and practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour
