Job Description

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Take and record patients' vital signs- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions- Take dental x-rays and process them for the dentist's review- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
Experience:- Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not required- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Familiarity with pediatric dental procedures is a plus- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures- Experience as a dental receptionist is a bonus- Ability to take accurate dental x-rays and operate imaging software (CAD, Eaglesoft)- Strong attention to detail in medical documentation
