Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting oral health. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by examining patients' gums and teeth.
Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records in the dental office management software, such as Eaglesoft.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including pediatric and general dentistry services.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control protocols.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and procedures.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy related to dentistry.
Experience or familiarity with dental assisting, medical coding, and four-handed dentistry is preferred.
Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment within a busy dental office setting.
Proficiency in using dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft, is advantageous.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
