Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to the dentist and ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for patients. This role requires excellent organizational skills, technical expertise, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and restorative treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments, materials, and equipment.
Take and process dental X-rays while adhering to safety guidelines.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and recording treatment notes
Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all patients.

Qualifications:

CDA or equivalent certification preferred.
Radiology certification and proficiency in taking X-rays.
Familiarity with dental software for charting and scheduling.
Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
CPR certification (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods.
Manual dexterity to handle dental tools and equipment.
