Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Perform chairside assisting during dental procedures
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
Record patient medical histories
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Provide patients with post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist
Maintain accurate patient records
Assist with 3D scanning procedures (will train if necessary)
Manage dental reception duties when required

Skills

Proficiency in medical imaging techniques
Knowledge of dental assisting procedures
Familiarity with 3D scanning technology (will train if necessary)
Understanding of human anatomy relevant to dentistry
Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
Knowledge of medical coding for insurance billing purposes
Familiarity with dental terminology
Strong grasp of infection control protocols
Proficiency in Dentrix software or similar dental practice management software

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Schedule:

Afternoon shift
Day shift
Morning shift
Weekends as needed

Experience:

Dental assisting: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

English (Required)

License/Certification:

X-Ray Certification (Required)

Ability to Commute:
