Job Description

Hiring Experienced Dental Assistant for Busy Endodontic Practice. Must be PA X-ray Certified or X-ray Certified in a state that can be transferred to Pennsylvania. Hourly Pay rate will be based on experience. Opportunity for a daily bonus is also offered. Schedule is Monday-Friday. No weekends and no late nights. Full benefits offered for full time employees.

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including taking and recording vital signs- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment using aseptic techniques- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, handing instruments and materials as needed- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions- Update and maintain patient medical records, including documenting treatments and procedures performed- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office reception area as needed
Experience:- Previous experience as a dental assistant or in a related role is preferred- Familiarity with dental terminology, medical records, and infection control protocols- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft is a plus- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
