Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix, Epic, Eaglesoft, or other dental management systems- Assist the dentist during procedures as necessary
Experience:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in [state]- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Dental Hygienist- Proficient in using Dentrix, Epic, Eaglesoft, or other dental management systems- Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing procedures
