Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Viola Startzman Dental Clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in various dental procedures and possess strong organizational skills to support our dental practice.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures- Perform various office tasks as needed
Qualifications- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software systems- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures- Experience in assisting with pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and medical imaging- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is a plus- Certification in dental assisting is preferred- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
