Duties
The Dental Hygienist is responsible for providing comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient assessment and will possess a strong understanding of dental anatomy. The successful candidate will also have experience working in a dental office environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments to identify potential oral health issues- Providing dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing- Educating patients on oral hygiene techniques and providing personalized oral health recommendations- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records- Collaborating with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care- Participating in continuing education to stay current on the latest dental hygiene techniques and best practices
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- A current Dental Hygiene license- A strong understanding of dental anatomy and medical terminology- At least 2 years of experience working as a dental hygienist- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
The hygiene schedule is:
Monday 8:00-5:00
Tuesday 8:00-5:00
Thursday 8:00-5:00
Lunch from 1:00-2:00
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 21 per week
