Job Title: Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Endodontist in providing high-quality dental care to our patients.
Responsibilities
You will ensure excellent patient service and manage administrative and basic dental tasks to support the Endodontist. Focused on patient care, youââ¬â¢ll answer patients' needs, concerns, and questions, ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable during their visit. Responsibilities include:
Welcoming patients to the dental office
Preparing patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort
Selecting and setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies
Sterilizing instruments according to regulations
Assisting the dentist with 4-handed dentistry
Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked
Scheduling appointments and post-op visits
Maintaining accurate patient records
Assisting with payment procedures
Must be able to work four, ten-hour shifts a week
As a vital member of our office, you will also help facilitate and coordinate other office responsibilities as needed. Requirements:
You are a resourceful Dental Assistant who is passionate about helping patients receive exceptional care and supporting the Dentist. You are motivated by seeing patients leave healthier, happier, and more comfortable. A kind, collaborative problem-solver, you can adjust proactively to shifting priorities and value the opportunity to make a positive impact.
You also have the following qualifications:
At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a Dental Assistant; specialty experience is preferred
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma
Certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
Active state radiology license (if required by law)
