Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Family friendly, independently owned general practice in Bethlehem. Flexible hours, Compensation is competitive." The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings and assist with other dental procedures- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records- Administer local anesthesia under the dentist's supervision- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Conduct preliminary dental exams and charting
Requirements- Certification or associate degree in Dental Hygiene- Proficiency in Four Handed Dentistry and Dental Assisting- Knowledge of Pediatric Dentistry and General Dentistry practices- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical coding- Experience with Dentrix software is a plus- Ability to perform vital signs monitoring and assist in various dental procedures- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques for infection control
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $43.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 Ã¢â¬â 32 per week
Schedule:
