Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dental office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and possess a strong understanding of general and pediatric dentistry.
Duties:
- Provide high-quality dental hygiene services, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and technology, such as intra oral cameras and digital xrays to ensure accurate and efficient treatments.- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols and HIPAA guidelines.- Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to develop personalized treatment plans.- Conduct pediatric and general dentistry procedures, including pediatric dentistry treatments.- Document patient medical information accurately and efficiently, using medical documentation software.- Collaborate with the dental office team to create a welcoming and informative environment for patients.- Utilize medical imaging software, such as Eaglesoft to analyze patient images and diagnose dental issues.- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field.- Current licensure to practice as a Dental Hygienist.- Proven experience in a dental office, with a focus on general and pediatric dentistry.- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, including infection control protocols and medical documentation.- Proficiency in using digital radiography and other dental technology.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements.
Skills:
- Experience in a dental office setting.- Knowledge of infection control and HIPAA regulations.- Proficiency in Digital Dentistry- Familiarity with general and pediatric dentistry.- Ability to provide medical documentation.- Experience with medical imaging software.- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
