Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at a reputable dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and patient care, with a strong background in dental assisting and infection control.
Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- Certification in Dental Assisting is a plus- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software- Experience in general dentistry, pediatrics, and CAD- Strong knowledge of medical coding for insurance billing- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $52.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
