Overview```Duties```- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history as necessary
```Experience```- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental anatomy- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices- Experience using electronic health record systems such as Open Dental- Ability to take vital signs and perform patient assessments
