Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and be knowledgeable in various dental procedures and practices.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and breakdown treatment rooms- Sterilize and disinfect instruments following aseptic techniques- Take dental x-rays- Provide patients with instructions for oral care postop surgery or other procedures- Utilize 3D scanners for accurate dental impressions- Maintain accurate patient records- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Experience- Proficiency in medical terminology and infection control protocols- Experience in dental assisting, including four-handed dentistry techniques- Familiarity with medical coding, Planet DDS Denticon software, and HIPAA regulations
**Qualifications:**
Certification or diploma from an accredited Dental Assistant program - Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology.
