Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Take and review medical histories, including vital signs, to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the documentation review of patient records and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry during procedures.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Utilize medical imaging technology as needed for diagnostics.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with dental assisting tasks is a plus.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices is essential.
Experience with medical records management and documentation review will be beneficial.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is desirable.
