Job SummaryLooking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our amazing dental team. As our hygienist you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires proficiency in various dental software systems, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient education and preventive care.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix or Eaglesoft systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, demonstrating patience and understanding in a pediatric dentistry setting.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Experience with Denticon software is preferred.
Knowledge of documentation review processes and HIPAA compliance is essential.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices as well as pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Previous experience in assisting during dental procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.
