Job Description
*Hiring for Saturdays 8am - 3pm & floater/per diem coverage
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral care instructions- Conduct thorough dental assessments and document findings in patient records- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
Skills:- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Epic, Dentrix, or similar- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and best practices
