Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team 2 days/week on MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS (must be available BOTH days) and 1x/month on Saturdays.
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist and other dental professionals to ensure excellent patient care and promote optimal dental hygiene.
Duties:- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement- Administer local anesthesia- Conduct thorough oral examinations and assess patients' oral health- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care- Perform periodontal charting and document findings in patient records- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
Requirements:- Valid Dental Hygiene license in [CA]- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols- Ability to take accurate dental x-rays and interpret them for diagnosis- Strong patient assessment skills- Comfortable working with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
