Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Duties

Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth using appropriate instruments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain accurate medical records and document all procedures performed during appointments.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques throughout all procedures.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.

Skills

Proficient in medical terminology and dental terminology relevant to patient care.
Strong understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interaction.
Familiarity with managing medical records efficiently within a dental office environment.
