Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of dental hygiene. This role involves working closely with the dental team to promote oral health and educate patients about preventive care.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Assess patients' oral health and document findings in medical records.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of patient care by taking vital signs and maintaining a comfortable environment.
Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, ensuring all instruments are properly sterilized.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices and knowledge of medical terminology.
Experience with patient care in a clinical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental management systems is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.

Pay: $47.10 - $49.49 per hour
