Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental hygiene practices.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Take and document vital signs to assess patient health prior to procedures.
Review medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Utilize Dentrix and Dexis software for patient management, scheduling, and documentation purposes.
Assist the dentist during procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic.
Apply knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to provide effective patient care.
Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with a focus on creating a positive experience for younger patients.
Utilize medical imaging systems to capture necessary diagnostic images as part of the treatment process.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care strategies to promote long-term dental health.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and medical terminology.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred but not required.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
Prior experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Pay: $43.31 - $44.80 per hour
