DUTIES- Perform dental cleanings on both dental implants and natural teeth- Perform oral exams for patients- Take dental x-rays- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and materials- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information inelectronic dental record systems (our practice management software is Carestack)- Perform dental charting and update patient records accurately- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
REQUIREMENTS- Valid state dental hygiene license in current status- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- X-Ray Certified- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
